Tommy Griffin is a former professional basketball player who was born on November 25, 1977 in Edison, New Jersey. He played college basketball at Seton Hall University and later transferred to the University of Nebraska, where he was a standout player for the Cornhuskers.

Griffin went undrafted in the 2001 NBA Draft but played professionally overseas in countries such as Belgium, Poland, and Cyprus. He also had a brief stint in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks during the 2005-2006 season.

After retiring from professional basketball, Tommy Griffin transitioned to coaching and currently works as the head coach of the boys basketball team at Ramsey High School in New Jersey. He is known for his passion for the game and dedication to helping young players develop their skills on and off the court.
